DUBAI: Emirates, the Middle East's biggest carrier, said Wednesday that it will diminish flights to the United States after fixed visa and safety efforts under President Donald Trump hit request.
The Dubai-based carrier said that it would slice administrations to five US urban areas — Los Angeles, Boston, Orlando, Seattle and Fort Lauderdale — beginning from one month from now.
"This is a business choice in light of debilitated travel request to US," a representative for the bearer said in an announcement.
“The recent actions taken by the US government relating to the issuance of entry visas, heightened security vetting, and restrictions on electronic devices in aircraft cabins, have had a direct impact on consumer interest and demand for air travel into the US,” it added.
Voyagers have communicated disappointment at a portable prohibition on expansive electronic gadgets that produced results a month ago on US-bound flights generally from the Middle East and North Africa.
