Dubai: Work on Route 2020, a 15km-long expansion of the Dubai Metro Red Line, has accumulated steam with seven percent work effectively finished, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) reported on Saturday.
Mattar Al Tayer, chief general and administrator of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, said while examining the developments destinations that few stations have seen critical improvement.
Amid the visit, Al Tayer examined the Concrete Batching Yard where solid portions of the metro viaduct are delivered together with supporting mainstays of 2.2-meter measurement to 2.6-meter width.
